Denise Aguiluz (she/her) is a third year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology M.A. program at California State University, Dominguez Hills on the LPCC pathway. Currently, she is working as a student assistant for CSUDH Institutional Review Board. 

Denise's research interests include underrepresented first generation college students’ sociocultural determinants, resilience, stress, and beliefs on academic persistence and mental health. Denise plans on pursuing a doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology after completing her masters. Her passion is painting, going to the beach, and spending time with her puppy, Canela.
