Precious Jones (she/her) is a fourth year transfer student majoring in Psychology at CSU Dominguez Hills. Currently, she is a research assistant for two labs: EMPOWER (which focuses on industrial organization in the workplace) and PERCH (the current lab). She is also developing her own research proposal relating the effects of social media on mental health. She plans on pursuing a career in neurological research in hopes to add to the literature about brain structure and functionality. Precious is currently working as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) providing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is an exuberant and energetic ray of joy who desires to spread kindness to all she encounters. When she is not working or studying, Precious enjoys relaxing to an uplifting audiobook and participating in fruitful discussions of spirituality, self-discovery, and growth with friends.
